2 filets, each 150-180g, or other cut of choice
1 cup pineapple juice
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp onion flakes, or 1/4 onion, chopped
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp salt
method:
Combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, vinegar and oil. Add onion, ginger and cayenne. Marinate the beef and refrigerate overnight.
Remove from fridge at least 1 hour before cooking. Remove the meat from its marinade and season with salt.
Heat pan on medium-high, and grill filet for ca. 6 min for medium-rare, and 8min for medium.
Serve with sides of choice (suggest corn on the cob, roast veggies and mashed potatoes).
